What makes this blog different then the others?
I’m a personal development junkie so I’m always reading blogs and consuming allot of educational materials. I noticed that there was a huge opportunity to have a fresh approach to the subject. So hence www.thethriveblog.com , the seriously, not so serious, approach to personal development. Why not have fun with it right?
Why should you care what I have to say?
You shouldn’t, I’ve probably made more mistakes in life then I can count. I have no credentials, I have no Phd. or let alone any college degree, unless you count the one I got out of a cereal box once. Five years ago I recognized that I was going backwards in life and wasn’t working towards what I imagined my life to be. I started to make some small changes that lead to bigger changes that resulted in progress that i could see.
Why, the not so serious approach?
Let me flip the swich and ask you a question. Why not have fun? I’ll wait… exactly, personal development doesn’t have to be serious all the time.
Personally, when I’m laughing and having a good time, I learn more and also, I’m more engaged in what I doing. It’s those positive vibes man…
Do I think personal development is a joke?
Not at all, I take it very seriously in fact. Every time I work on myself I get a huge return on my investment, so I don’t think of it as a joke.
